Sync Stripe customers into consent-checked segments
Connect a Stripe account, scan customer and payment activity, and organize buyers into ready-made behavioral lists without skipping marketing consent.
Connect a Stripe account
- 1
Open Settings → Integrations and provide a Stripe secret or restricted API key.
- 2
K2Mailer verifies the key against the Stripe account before saving the connection.
- 3
Start a scan. Customers, charges, subscriptions, and invoices are read and summarized per customer; nothing is charged or modified in Stripe.
What the scan builds
The scan groups matching customers into a dedicated "Stripe" group containing behavioral lists: All Stripe Customers, Active Stripe Subscribers, Recent Stripe Buyers, Repeat Stripe Buyers, High-Value Stripe Customers, Lapsed Stripe Buyers, Stripe Failed-Payment Follow-up, and Stripe Refunded Customers.
Membership is derived from real payment activity: recent successful charges, active or trialing subscriptions, repeat and lifetime spend, refunds, and invoices Stripe has given up collecting.
Consent still applies
Every list the sync creates is double opt-in and flagged as requiring consent. Being a Stripe customer does not by itself authorize marketing email.
A separate marketing-consent endpoint records an explicit opt-in event (with a form name and policy version) before a synced contact is actually treated as subscribed to the selected segments.
Sync is not a consent shortcut
Use the Stripe sync to organize who your buyers are. Still capture explicit marketing consent before sending campaign email to a synced contact.
Frequently asked questions
- Does connecting Stripe automatically start sending campaigns to customers?
- No. The sync only builds lists and requires a separate recorded consent event before treating a contact as subscribed.
- Can I run the scan again as new Stripe activity happens?
- Yes. Re-running the scan updates the same behavioral lists rather than duplicating them.
- Does this feature move money or change anything in Stripe?
- No. The scan only reads customer, charge, subscription, and invoice data.
