Understand contact status, format, verification, subscription state, and contact exports.
In the app→Contacts → Contacts
Contact states
- Active
- Eligible for sending when the other list and compliance rules also pass.
- Confirmed
- Completed confirmation or was explicitly marked confirmed.
- Verified
- Can be skipped by list verification because the address is already considered verified.
- Subscribed
- Has not unsubscribed from the specific list.
- HTML or Text
- Controls the preferred email content format for the contact.
Available contact actions
- Create, edit, view, activate, deactivate, or delete contacts.
- Export contacts for a list and import contacts with field mapping.
- Download an individual contact as a vCard.
- Search and sort contact grids, including Enter-to-search behavior.
